Fire Up! Podcast finds new home at Afternoon Sport Group

Fire Up! – the rugby league podcast for people who aren’t fans of rugby league – has taken up new residence on Afternoon Sport Group.

Hosted by Stephen Ferris and Kris Gale, the show that offers amusing, alternate views of the rugby league stories making headlines – and has hosted guests including Anthony Albanese, James Tedesco and Ben Mendelsohn – is back for the 2023 NRL season at its new home.

Formerly of FBi Radio, the long-running Fire Up! delves deep into the absurdities, minutiae and huge personalities in the NRL universe, featuring regular guests and a perfunctory, random, and opinionated weekly analysis of every round’s games.

The show started as a Friday morning sports spot in 2005, and moved to Diamantina Media Network in 2019.

Most recently, the team at Fire Up! has had rugby league legend Benny Elias grace their presence and next week will play host to Don Walker of Cold Chisel.
