Exclusive ICC Women’s T20 World Cup coverage on ABC listen
The ABC will deliver coverage of the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, with every ball streaming nationwide on ABC listen Sport.
The pinnacle of women’s T20 cricket heads to England and Wales from 12 June to 5 July, with 12 teams competing in the expanded format for the first time.
Australia enters as one of the major forces in women’s cricket, having claimed six of the nine titles since the competition began in 2009, while New Zealand returns as defending champion.
All eyes will also be on new Australian captain Sophie Molineux (main photo), who is supported by co-vice captains Ashleigh Gardner and Tahlia McGrath.
ABC’s radio coverage will be led by BBC’s broadcast team from England, delivering expert insight and play-by-play action across the tournament.
The commentary line-up features voices familiar to Australian audiences, including Alison Mitchell and Henry Moeran, alongside Geoff Lemon, Melissa Story, Emily Windsor, Daniel Norcross, Nikki Chaudhuri, Ffion Wynne, Aatif Nawaz, Nathan Johns, Annesha Ghosh, Alex Hartley, Firdose Moonda, Ebony Rainford-Brent and Ed Joyce.
