Everybody, Gather Round: Adelaide radio rises to the occasion
South Australia is in the spotlight as footy fans from all over the country descend on Adelaide for the AFL’s Gather Round, and local radio has well and truly immersed itself in the festivities.

891 ABC Radio Adelaide’s Sonya and Jules broadcast live from the Adelaide Convention Centre this morning.
Their roving reporter Troy Sincock is covering the Footy Festival in Elder Park, where a crowd of AFL fans kicked off the day’s program.

Last night, FIVEAA’s Rowey and Timmy G broadcast live from Adelaide Oval as the Crows took on the Cats, featuring interviews with AFL CEO Andrew Dillon and high profile footy journalist Caroline Wilson.


Nova’s Ben, Liam & Belle made a special road trip back to their hometown in celebration of Gather Round.

At Triple M Adelaide, the AFL Premiership Cup was in the house for Gather Round.
