Ernie Sigley

Ernie Sigley was part of the 3AW Melbourne Line-up for more than ten years on Afternoons. 

His family confirmed the news today that Ernie has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.  

With Earnie a life-member of the Western Bulldogs, he missed the AFL Grand Final on Saturday with his family releasing a statement saying:

“While he would love to have been at the MCG to watch his beloved Western Bulldogs make history, Ernie had to settle for the live television broadcast”.

Ernie Sigley retired from 3AW in 2008 at age 70. Like the team at 3AW, we wish Ernie all the very best.
