Davo heads down south to K rock 95.5

After an extensive nation-wide search, Geelong’s K rock has announced that Hot100 Darwin Breakfast host Lauren ‘Davo’ Davidson will be joining Tim Bolch on Drive, while Jess Pantou Qazi heads off on 12 months of maternity leave from mid-September.

Geelong Broadcasters’ Acting Group Content Director Tom Lewis said “You could spend a lifetime searching for the perfect person to fill-in for Jess, fortunately for us it was only a matter of months.”

“Content roles in provincial markets are drying up but there is still an amazing amount of talent out there finding ways to ply their trade. Davo is a perfect example of a tenacious creative. She’s a great fit for us sound-wise, brand-wise and importantly, team-wise.”

“We’re incredibly lucky to have lured her to cooler climates to join K rock for an exciting twelve months.”

 “In fact, she’ll get here just in time to see the Cats win another flag, so that’ll be a good little introduction to Geelong.”

Tim and Davo will drive Geelong and the Surf Coast home full time from September 22.
