Davis wins top honour

ARN has had a successful night at the Executive of the Year Awards held in Sydney overnight.

CEO Ciaran Davis has won the blue-chip award of the event, the CEO of the Year award, for his strategy and success with ARN since 2010.

By any measure ARN has undergone a transformation under Davis' stewardship, with all key metrics improving and the company now seen as a genuinely exciting radio network.

The judges said Davis has:

"combined the best people, most entertaining talent and bold client solutions to build a strong, contemporary media company (and) ARN has had it's best year yet, taking out the #1 and #2 FM stations and breakfast shows in Sydney"

Ciaran Davis said:

“I feel incredibly privileged to win this award tonight.  I have worked in radio for over fifteen years, it’s a dynamic industry to work in and this award is a strong endorsement for the industry.

This award also vindicates the hard work and commitment of all the staff at ARN who are driven and passionate people.”

Also a winner last night was ARN's National Marketing Director, Anthony Xydis, who was awarded Marketing Executive of the Year.

Triple M Melbourne's Eddie McGuire hosted the awards, as he has done for the previous two years.
