Canberra’s #1 FM breakfast show has a tasty new TVC

Hit104.7’s breakfast duo Ryan & Tanya have just dropped the first in a series of seven commercials all centred around a bathtub.

The 15-second ad sees both Ryan and Tanya submerged in a tub of doughnuts. It’s all part of a larger campaign that will roll out over the next few months.

“The boss gave us all this money to make a TV commercial and then we just took the money and spent it on a bath of doughnuts,” Tanya says to her co-host in the commercial.

In what is surely not a fluky coincidence, the TVC was released on International Doughnuts Day, a tradition that has made its way across the continents from the US.

While the station hasn’t yet revealed what’s in store for the brekkie team’s next commercial, we’re sure about one thing: A bathtub will be involved.
