Brisbane’s Most Golden Dog crowned in Nova 106.9’s Golden Hour

Brisbane’s Most ‘Golden’ Retriever has been officially crowned by Nova 106.9 following a search by the Breakfast team of Ash, Luttsy and Nikki Osborne.

Golden Retrievers are one of the nation’s most beloved dog breeds and have officially stolen the hearts of the Nova 106.9 Breakfast Show, with both Ash Bradnam and Nikki Osborne proudly owning Sonny Bill and Whisky.

Ash and Nikki decided they wanted to host an event called Golden Hour, a mini-Olympics for local Goldens – where they would race, leap, and catch their way to glory.

Held yesterday at the dog-loving Wolfhouse Dog Daycare & Training Campus at Eagle Farm, the shortlisted Goldens competed in fun, dog-friendly challenges, including sprints, obstacles courses and catch – before Ranger Stacey revealed the bronze, silver and gold medal winners.

Ash brought along his beloved Sonny Bill to see Poppy from Balmoral take the Gold Medal along with bragging rights, golden glory and doggie treats supplied by Petbarn.
