Big news revealed: Mix and Hit join forces as Skyfire returns to Canberra

The big Canberra radio news that was teased yesterday – and prompted a world of speculation in radio groups – has been revealed.

After a five year hiatus, both Hit and Mix have announced this morning that Skyfire will return 2024 – the fireworks spectacular over Canberra’s Lake Burley Griffin set down for Saturday, March 16.

Skyfire was one of the first Canberra events that got cancelled due to Covid.

MIX 106.3 and HIT 104.7 – which are jointly owned by Southern Cross Austereo and ARN Media are joining forces, vowing to bring it back – bigger and better than ever – next year.
