Bernie Vince and Emma G to host new SAFM Breakfast show

SCA has today confirmed that Bernie Vince and Emma Georgiadis will host a new Breakfast show on Adelaide’s SAFM, starting Monday, November 11.

The duo replaces Rebecca Morse and Mark Soderstrom, the latter of whom announced his departure on air earlier this week.

Georgiadis previously anchored The Rush Hour alongside Vince, who retired from professional footy in 2018, joining Triple M as part of its AFL commentary team the following year.

Most recently from the Hit Network’s national Late Nights show The Pulse, Georgiadis has worked in the entertainment and media industry for almost 20 years.

Of teaming up with his mate on Breakfast radio, Vince says “I can’t wait to get started with this amazing opportunity for the both of us to build something new, even though we’ve worked together on-air for several years.”

Georgiadis says “As a passionate Adelaidean, I’m super excited to be back on the airwaves in my hometown, and on the station I listened to and loved growing up. Bern has a magnetic energy and is a legend to work with.”

SCA Chief Content Officer Dave Cameron says “SAFM listeners are in for a fresh new level of energy and cheekiness with these two.”

Bec and Soda were sixth in breakfast in the most recent GfK Survey 6.
