Ash London launches podcast project: The Ash London Podcast

Former Editor & Content Director

Former radio star Ash London has revealed her next project, with The Ash London Podcast launching tomorrow.

London was set to go on maternity leave from her national Hit Network Nights show, Ash London LIVE!, however shortly before she was due to go off air, she revealed she would not be returning once the baby was born.

“After five years, I just wrapped up my national radio show, Ash London LIVE!, and in a couple of weeks, I’m having my first kid… So, what am I doing in the meantime? A podcast, obviously,” London says in the podcast’s trailer.

“This show will be a lot of things, which is kind of my way of saying I have no idea what the hell it’s going to be, but I know that it feels like the world has gone to shit, and I want to figure out how to keep living my best life, while raising a small human, in a pandemic, while the world gets hotter.”

Season one of The Ash London Podcast will be called ‘New Mum, Who Dis?’ The season will see London chat to 10 mothers who have raised children while at the top of their career game. Tomorrow’s guest is Miranda Kerr, while future guests include Tiffany Hall, Emma Isaacs and Liane Moriarty.

London, however, said The Ash London Podcast would not just be a “mummy podcast”, and the project will grow and evolve as she does. Season two, she said in a note to her database, could be about anything.

“I want this project to be something we can all experience together – I want to help figure out your big life questions, speak to the people that inspire you and find a better way for us all to connect to ourselves, and our dreams,” she said.

The show’s first episode with Kerr drops tomorrow, Tuesday September 14, with launch partner modibodi.
