ARN’s inclusivity recognised by the Diversity Council Australia

The Australian Radio Network (ARN) has been named an Inclusive Employer for 2023-2024 by the prestigious Diversity Council Australia (DCA), recognising and accrediting the company’s commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.

To become an Inclusive Employer, participants must prove their commitment to diversity and inclusion by having employees complete an in-depth survey to map the state of inclusion in their workplace.  Results should exceed national benchmarks on a series of key measures including Awareness, Engagement, Inclusive Organisational Climate, Inclusive Leadership, Inclusive Team and Exclusion.

Ciaran Davis, ARN Media CEO and Managing Director, said:

“We are so pleased to be recognised as an Inclusive Employer by the Diversity Council of Australia, especially as this is the first year ARN has participated in the Inclusive Employer Index. The Diversity Council’s acknowledgement of our inclusive culture is evidence of our commitment to ensuring every ARN team member can be their best and bring their best each day.

We are proud of the constructive culture we have been building at ARN, where listening to and connecting with our own people comes first – so in turn, they can connect us even more deeply with our audiences through the power of audio.  And the best part is, we’ve only just begun. While we are delighted to be recognised, there is always more do and learn to create the most inclusive organisation by harnessing each of our people’s unique talents and perspectives.”

ARN joins 82 other organisations across Australia that meet the Diversity Council Australia’s (DCA) criteria to be included on its Inclusive Employers index for 2023-24 with the full list on the Diversity Council Australia’s website.
