AMAA ends Nielsen auditing

Staff Writer

The Audited Media Association of Australia has formally ended its relationship with Nielsen Market Intelligence, and given that, there will be no auditing of online sites for the month of October.

This impacts a number of radio groups including DMG, ARN, SCA, Macquarie Radio, and MCM. It also impacts Radio Today. The AMAA will announce on 21 October who the successful supplier will be, and Radio Today will be moving to that arrangement.

However, we will outline our September traffic below, which is the final report from Nielsen, and has been audited by the AMAA. September saw Radio Today achieve record high traffic numbers and confirm our position as Australia's number one radio industry site.

During September, Radio Today recorded 1,890 average unique visitors per day, delivering 146,000 page impressions. The growth trend across the last year or so shows consistent increases in traffic numbers.

Due to the AMAA's move to a new supplier, we will have no traffic results in October, and will move to the new measurement system from 1 November.
