AFTRS graduate Sean Brown joins fellow alumni Mariam Belle at Magic 931

Sean Brown has secured a job at South Australian Grant Broadcasters-owned radio station Magic 931.

Brown graduated from AFTRS in 2017, and this morning announced he will join fellow graduate Mariam Belle on Breakfast from August 27.

“Can’t wait to finally take the next step in my radio career!” he posted to Facebook.

Mariam, who joined the station in May, commented “What is life??!! Congratulations Sean!”

Ahead of AFTRS Open Day this Saturday August 11, Sean reflected on his time at the college.

“Choosing to study at AFTRS was the best decision I have ever made,” said Sean.

“Not only was I taught a variety of skills in all areas of radio, but I got to work on Sydneys #1 breakfast show, I got to meet and work with some of my idols, I made industry connections and also lifelong friends.

“AFTRS prepared me for the industry I have always dreamed of working in and I am so grateful for the knowledge and experience I was given”
