ADVO application against Nova Network’s Tim Blackwell withdrawn

Another high profile radio personality has had a potentially long running court matter settled, with Sydney Nova 969 breakfast host Tim Blackwell‘s ADVO application against him withdrawn and dismissed by the court.

The court action was brought by police, representing Tim’s former wife who is mother to his three children, and was adjourned until December after the initial hearing in April. Blackwell was not been charged with any criminal offence.

The Daily Telegraph reported (subscription required) that Blackwell’s lawyer, Paul McGirr said the claims were based around Blackwell driving near his former wife’s home on his way to work, staying in the same town while traveling with his new partner and were ‘ridiculous’.
