Most Added: Vance Joy picks up another win at radio

Radio’s favourite son Vance Joy is back to his winning ways, picking up yet another Most Added crown.

‘We’re Going Home’ was playlisted by 162 stations across Australia with notable across-the-board additions coming from both KIIS Sydney and Melbourne, the entire Nova network, triple j and every metro Hit station (except 2DayFM Sydney who’s revamped music strategy saw them fail to add any songs this week).

Joy’s win at radio follows the success of ‘Lay It On Me’ which took out Most Added To Radio in July 2017 and peaked at #10 on TMN’s Hot 100 radio airplay chart.

Troye Sivan had a similar week of additions as ‘My My My!’ convinced the majority of MDs to adopt the track. The national Hit Network added the track at Drive, while the Hit regional network also got behind ‘My My My!’ with an across-the-board add.

Camila Cabello’s ‘Never Be The Same’ was officially serviced to radio this week and was always going to demand attention. Crossing the line in third place, Cabello’s shot at #1 was diminished by the KIIS network who added the song to their playlist last week.

The remaining spots in the Top 5 this week belong to fellow Sony artist Khalid with ‘Saved’ and Queensland dance duo Mash N Kutcher with their new single ‘Need Me’ ft. Sammi Constantine.
