Absolutely rocking it: Radio industry supports Ausmusic T-Shirt Day
It’s that day of the year when we get to don our favourite Aussie music shirt – or purchase one – and support our colleagues in the music industry.
Ausmusic T-Shirt Day is a day to celebrate Australian music and raise urgently-needed funds for music workers.
The money raised will go directly to Support Act, which helps every person in the music industry who’s doing it tough.
More info on how to purchase your t-shirt here.
This week, Nova’s Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel chatted with ambassador Bridget Hustwaite about this epic initiative.
Whether it’s crisis relief, mental health, or First Nations support, this organisation has musicians, managers and crew covered.

Lucy Holmes and Kel McWilliam from the Lucy & Kel Breakfast Show on Melbourne’s 89.9 The Light are among the radio teams getting right into the spirit of the occasion.
“Kel and I are celebrating the legacy of Australian music icon and feminist trailblazer, Helen Reddy, with a High Tees Australia special edition I Am Woman t-shirt, a song that empowered generations of women worldwide!”
“$5 from this shirt goes to @supportact! We love High Tees Australia!”

While my RadioInfo colleague Jen Seyderhelm is absolutely rocking her Slim Dusty t-shirt.

K rock’s Chris Holland could quite literally stop traffic today in his King Stingray t-shirt.
