92.7 MIX FM’s Archie & Bretz make international news with cheeky cricket stakeout
92.7 MIX FM Drive duo Archie & Bretz have made international news, following their cheeky stakeout of the English cricket team at Noosa.
With the touring team 2-nil down in The Ashes and facing a series whitewash, Sam ‘Archie’ Arenson and Henry Bretz – dressed in full cricket whites – took it upon themselves to offer some assistance.
In a truly heartwarming sporting moment, England captain Ben Stokes even agreed to pose for a photo, whilst Archie & Bretz held aloft signs that read ‘For Sale – Moral Victories’ and ‘Bazballers Anonymous Free Counselling.’
The resulting video has already clocked up more than a quarter of a million views.
Archie and Bretz joined the Sunny Coast radio team in September and have hit the ground running following the departure of Todd ‘Toddy’ Widdicombe and Sami Muirhead from MIX FM Drive.

Can a Metro gig be far away for Archie and Bretz?
Where was the station logo on the costumes?
These guys are bloody great
@BrettD
Seriously? Because they dressed in cricket gear…A took a picture with a English cricket…Is the bar THAT low? How is anything they’ve done displaying any talent? They went to a beach in Noosa…Awkwardly went up to some crickets and attempted to make fun of them. Wow…give them 2DAY FM Breakfast embarrassing.
Also….Mix FM counting this as a win for them…After they constantly peddle…Anti bullying or any time of harassment or anything man hating. And here are two guys..harassing, bulling, shaming, a complete stranger on the beach.
@A this sounds like a very loaded, salty response which I’m sure is absolutely not coming from a place of rejection or jealousy
Sorry you didn’t get the job I guess?
