6PR’s new breakfast team

Steve ‘Millsy’ Mills and Karl Langdon are taking over the 6PR Breakfast show from Monday, November 21, replacing outgoing host Gareth Parker.

To cater to the new show, Mills will move from his Afternoon timeslot into Breakfast and team up with Langdon, who will move from the new Wide World of Sports program.

The pair will bring audiences the latest news, interviews and stories that matter most to Perth.

Millsy, who has been with the station for over 18 years and previously hosted breakfast, is looking forward to returning to his old timeslot.

“I’m excited to be back on Breakfast, with my good mate Karl, waking up Perth,” said Millsy

“Life can be challenging for many at present, but our focus will be providing inspiration to start everyone’s day on the right foot.”

“Throw in some laughs and the latest news, and 6PR Brekky with us will definitely get Perth talking.”

West Coast premiership champion Langdon, a sports commentator and broadcaster with more than 27 years at the station, is looking forward to teaming up with Millsy.

“I’m looking forward to setting the early wake-up call to work alongside Millsy. I’ve admired and respected him since the moment he joined 6PR and to work alongside him will be fun.”

6PR content manager Emily White said, “These two lovable larrikins will keep you across everything that’s happening in Perth…”

“The latest news, traffic, sport and weather, plus your favourite segments like the Rumour File and $1000 minute will continue.

The new Afternoon host will be announced in the near future.
