2 new speakers announced for Radio Conference

Staff Writer

So far the National Radio Conference on October 11 has SCA's Sam Cavanagh, Naked Communications Adam Ferrier, US sales professional Pat Bryson, and GfK speaking on the day.

Now CRA have announced 2 more speakers.

One of Australia's most-viewed online video producers, Natalie Tran, and self-confessed multimedia junkie, and Today drive host, Jules Lund.

Tran will describe her journey, from making videos on her webcam to achieving internet celebrity status. She will share insights into her content development process and  the ways she maintains the relationship with her fan base.

“It's exciting to be able to share with people my experiences as an independent content producer as the paths of people like myself and more traditional outlets merge to form new roads between content and its audiences,” said Tran.

Lund's session will be called “Are you Likeable?”. He will attempt to explain the social media rules of engagement and cultivating an intimate audience connection.

CRA CEO Joan Warner said:

"Natalie Tran has achieved outstanding success by establishing intimate, personal connections with a mass audience and there are clear parallels with the radio industry. Jules has extended his on-air engagement across social media and provides a great example of tailoring content to extend his audience outside of his drive show. We're looking forward to both presentations at the conference.”
