104.7 & 106.3 Canberra appoint new PD

Mark Wiggett has been appointed as Content Director for 104.7 and Mix 106.3 in Canberra, the SCA and ARN joint venture duopoly.

Wiggett is presently the Content Director for the Southern Cross Austereo regional network in Western Australia; Hot FM and RadioWest.

He commented:

"Over the past 12 months we have seen some brilliant developments across both brands, it's been a credit to my team. Now it's time to tackle new adventures and challenges in Canberra".

Replacing him in Bunbury will be Katrina Tibbits, who returns to the role that she held prior to Wiggett taking over. Tibbits said:

"RadioWest and Hot FM have such a great history throughout regional WA and I can't wait to be on board in 2014. I'm also looking forward to dusting off the old Freo Dockers scarf and trying to remember that in the west togs are bathers and a pot is a middy".

Regional General Manager of WA, Ashley Myatt, commented;

"Although I have mixed feelings about seeing great people leave, I love knowing that we've played a big part in their career progression".

Wiggett will commence in Canberra mid-January, and Tibbits will commence in Bunbury on 6 January.
