Woody Whitelaw ‘gives birth’ – live on air

Reporter

Woody Whitelaw from the KIIS Network’s Will & Woody show has been trying to experience what it’s like to be pregnant so he can better support and have more empathy for his wife, who is currently expecting their second child.

During the last week, Woody has worn a 12-kilogram body suit non-stop and on Friday afternoon’s show, he went through an imitation four-hour labour via a birthing simulator.

Before the baby was ‘born’, Woody’s partner Mim joined the show and Woody broke down as he expressed how much he appreciates her.

“Mim I love you so much. You’re amazing but it’s just so amazing that you went through all of this and you gave me the gift of Remi and I just love her so much and you’re amazing.”

After ‘giving birth,’ Woody said “Mate, honestly, yeah so much respect for any woman who does that. [It] is wild. Well not that I just did it, obviously, but I can’t imagine [going through] more than that.”
