Wave FM turn 21

2WL in Wollongong converted to the FM band in July 1992, and in the process retired its famous AM call sign and 'position 13' on the dial.

To celebrate, on Friday 26 July Wave FM are throwing a 21st birthday party with 3 bands who have played the Gong many times over the years; Mental as Anything, The Radiators and Dragon.
