Vision Australia Radio team meets listeners at Geelong Disability Expo
Vision Australia Radio has wrapped up a busy day, teaming up with Vision Australia Employment Services, Vision Store and Seeing Eye Dogs to host an information booth at the Geelong Disability Expo.
Vision Australia Radio is a network of print disability radio stations across Victoria, New South Wales, WA, South Australia and the Northern Territory, incorporating ten community stations and five digital radio services.
The team at VAR spent yesterday mixing with their local Geelong listeners, volunteers and clients.
Seeing Eye Dogs volunteer puppy carer Mike was also in the space.
“Sadly, we were so busy we didn’t get a photo of Tilly, we can only assume she is home having a well earned drink (of water),” said the VAR team.
“Big thanks to our Vision Australia Radio sponsors Impact Institute for having us at the event, and for supporting the needs of the blind and low vision community.”
The expo continues today at Geelong Arena.
I love to see my VAR family representing the brand proudly! Good on ya!
