Triple M’s Kaz & Tubes crown Tassie Trivia champion

After months of nail-biting play, 107.3 Triple M Breakfast with Kaz & Tubes this week crowned the winner of its $10,000 Tassie Trivia quiz.

Every weekday at 8:30am, Kaz & Tubes put two Hobart locals up against each other in a quick-fire trivia showdown.

The daily winner scored $100 cash and the chance to either walk away or put it all on the line the next morning.

Supported by Creative Homes, ten straight wins unlocked the ultimate $10,000 prize.

Over the past fortnight, 22-year-old Felicity from Midway Point displayed nerves of steel, risking her winnings nine times before sealing her tenth consecutive victory and walking away with the $10,000 jackpot.

Overcome with emotion, Felicity burst into tears on air, saying:  “I have so many feelings. I don’t have a car at the moment. This money means a lot. I don’t know where to start! This wouldn’t be here without Triple M and Creative Homes, thank you so much.”

Karen ‘Kaz’ McMullen said: “Felicity, I’m having a tear here. I know how important it is to get in your car and go to work; and that’s now a reality for you!”

Andy ‘Tubes’ Taylor said “Felicity, you have been unbelievable. We love that you’re a Tasmania, who is doing it a little tough, congratulations.”
