Reporter

Triple M’s The Rush Hour Queensland with A.B & Elliott has this week undertaken a mammoth task to raise funds for those impacted by North Queensland’s Tropical Cyclone Jasper.

Starting at 6.30 on Wednesday morning from Gordonvale, Elliott walked through Cairns to Yorkeys Knob, a journey spanning over 42km.

A.B and Elliott then broadcast their Drive show – The Rush Hour live – from 4pm at the Yorkeys Knob Boating Club.

Walking over 42km in 10 hours to the afternoon broadcast, Elliott’s step count reached over 50,500, raising nearly $10,000.

People can still donate, with 100% of the publicly donated funds to be used to purchase essential items and services to help those affected by the cyclone and floods.

These two cannot, and will not, stop bringing their very best to regional Queensland. A.B., Elliott and Luke are a powerhouse team – would love to hear even more of them outside of the regions eventually!
