Triple M pay tribute to triple j

Triple M Operations Manager / 3MMM CD, Mike 'Fitzy' Fitzpatrick, has some news about something they're doing next week on the M's :-

"We’re celebrating 20 years of the Hottest 100.

"We went back and looked at the Hottest 100 lists from the 90s and it’s our playlist, our gold.

"It’s a tribute to a brilliant countdown. We’re not trying to steal their countdown because clearly they own it, it’s a music icon.

"We’re not doing it as a countdown, it’s a collection of songs. Our Music Jury are building it, we sent an email to them yesterday and we’ve had 3000 votes in 12 hours."
