Triple M NRL celebrates 15 years at 2020 season launch

Triple M Footy is celebrating 15 years of NRL coverage in 2020, and confirmed the return of its lineup at an SCG season launch.

Returning to the coverage for this year are Peter Sterling, Gorden Tallis, Ryan Girdler, Wendell Sailor, Mark Geyer, Emma Lawrence, Tony Squires, Paul Kent, Ben Dobbin, Brent Read and James Hooper.

They’ll be joined by two of the game’s best callers; Dan Ginnane and Anthony Maroon.

Sailor is also a part of the new Dead Set Legends on Saturday mornings at 10am, which he hosts alongside Gus Worland and Jude Bolton.

It was also confirmed that a rotating roster of current players will join the Saturday Scrum. They will include Parramatta’s Mitch Moses, Cronulla’s Wade Graham, Gold Coast’s Jai Arrow, & Souths’ Damien Cook.

Triple M also confirmed its partners for the 2020 season; Rheem & McDonalds, as well as Mitsubishi, Coates Hire, Tyrepower, Ladbrokes & CBUS Super.

Triple M NRL revealed the following broadcast schedule for 2020, all live on 104.9 Triple M Sydney and 104.5 Triple M Brisbane:

Thursday Night coverage: 7:00pm – 10:00pm
Friday Night coverage: 6:00pm – 8:00pm

Saturday Scrum: 12:00pm – 3:00pm –  Ryan Girdler, Emma Lawrence, Sterlo, Tony Squires and rotating guests
Saturday afternoon game: 3:00pm – 5.30pm

Sunday Sunday Sin Bin: 1:00pm – 4:00pm –  Paul Kent, Gorden Tallis, Anthony Maroon and James Hooper
Sunday afternoon game: 4.00pm – 6.30pm

The season gets underway this weekend as Wendell Sailor, Ryan Girdler and Anthony Marron broadcasting the annual Charity Shield match between South Sydney and St George Illawarra Dragons.

Guys,
I heard this morning that you are all relieved to see that Hollywood will not be making a refereeing comeback, however, please take a second to think of how devastated the Manly SeaEagles supporters would be now knowing that their favourite son Greg Hartley will also not be able to also make a comeback!!
