Triple M issues MMMissile Warning ahead of Kennedy Molloy return

Staff Writer

The networks are cranking up the publicity machine as their big name teams prepare to kick off the ratings year on Monday.

On Triple M, the new national Drive show, Kennedy Molloy, launches on Monday, January 22.  They chose a novel way to generate some buzz with a timely text message.

It obviously references the false missile alert that caused panic in Hawaii at the weekend.

It’s not panic that Triple M is hoping to generate, however, but a little bit of pre-launch chatter for the former D-Gen partners, Jane Kennedy and Mick Molloy.

Their show was given a test-drive in Melbourne towards the end of last year and will now be pitted against Southern Cross Austereo stable-mates, Hughesy and Kate on the Hit Network, Kate, Tim and Marty on the Nova Network and the new kids on the block, Will and Woody on the KIIS Network.
