Tracey Kol appointed General Manager of Warrnambool’s 3YB FM & Coast FM
Tracey Kol has been promoted to the role of General Manager at ACE Radio Network’s Warrnambool stations 3YB FM and Coast FM.
Tracey was previously Sales Manager at the network.
ACE Radio CEO Mark Taylor said “Tracey has demonstrated strong leadership and commercial capability, and she will, in due course, appoint a new Sales Manager to support the continued growth of these stations.”

In other news, Chief Marketing Officer Grant Johnstone (pictured above) has been appointed Chief Operations Officer (COO) of the ACE Radio Network.
Taylor says “The creation of this role reflects the continued growth and complexity of our business and the need to strengthen our operational leadership across content, digital, technology, marketing, and innovation.”
As COO, Johnstone will work closely with the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver on ACE’s strategic priorities.
He will oversee all ACE content operations (regional, metro, and digital), Technical & IT, Digital Operations, Marketing & Promotions and Innovation and Development.
As part of a broader operational review, the ACE Radio group has been exploring revised regional operational groupings designed to improve efficiency, accountability, and support structures across the business.
As a result, regional management has divided into two main groups:
Northern Region: Swan Hill, Deniliquin/Echuca, Albury, Wangaratta, Horsham
Southern Region: Colac, Warrnambool, Hamilton, Gippsland
“These groupings are intended to deliver clearer leadership lines across markets, improve staff retention by creating new development and advancement opportunities, including additional Sales Manager and General Manager roles in the future,” said Taylor.

3CS and MIXX FM General Manager Nick Hay (pictured above) will lead the Southern Region.
Group Local Sales Director Paul Gadsden (below) will oversee the Northern Region.

Taylor said “Both Nick and Paul bring significant regional experience and leadership capability, and they will play a critical role in supporting their teams and delivering improved operational outcomes under this structure.”
