Three Questions: Mathew Eggleston

It’s been a big 2016 in radio, as the New Year is close to rolling in; we are asking a bunch of you three quick questions. Up first it’s Hit 105 Brisbane’s Mathew Eggleston.

The year in review, what are you most pleased with from 2016.

The way our brekky show has performed and worked amazing well as a unit with Osher coming on board this year. It’s a testament to Stav, Abby & Osher and the producing team of Peta, Mat and Adrian + gotta say RNB Friday’s live… that thing was a music feature into a touring music festival! Wow what an event and it gives me goosebumps thinking about it now.

Biggest challenge facing your stations in the next 12-months?

Very interesting market change! In 2016 all eyes were on Melbourne and new shows etc. 2017 it feels like Brisbane is the place to watch. It’s a 4 horse race and one that we are 100% up for the challenge with the interesting programming decisions that have happened in our market.

Favourite song of 2016?

It’s always a tough question because you forget about the monsters that landed in the first few months of the year by this stage with brain melt but one I was looking forward to all year / bloody loved and still love is Bruno Mars “24K Magic” + the film clip is a cracker.
