‘This Week Live’ off to a strong start

Last night I caught a repeat of the new TEN show, 'This Week Live'.

The show looks at the events of the week through the eyes of comedians, many of them from radio. The hosts of the show are ex-Mamamia Today host Dave Thornton, Nova's Tommy Little and Meshel Laurie, with Tom Gleeson.

For the first episode, it was natural, had a great pace with some very funny moments. Close your eyes and it was a lot like a radio show.

It had the feeling of a more relaxed The Project and at times was quite edgy. The chemistry between all four hosts was very strong.

One special guest on the debut was triple j breakfast host Tom Ballard.

It's definitely worth a look – TEN are replaying the first episode tonight (Friday) at 9.30pm and again tomorrow night from 11pm. Or if you like, just stream it here.
