The Hot Breakfast welcomes back Seb Costello

Former Assistant Editor

Seb Costello is returning to Triple M‘s The Hot Breakfast as its news presenter.

From Monday, July 16 he’ll head up The Hot Breakfast’s news, after returning from Europe having spent time as Nine Network’s European correspondent.

During his time in Europe the journalist reported on stories including the Manchester bombing, the London Bridge terror attack, and the Grenfell Tower – providing updates for Triple M as well.

In 2017 Seb received a Quill Award for his work at the 2017 Olympics in Brazil.

“It’s great to be returning home to Triple M’s Hot Breakfast,” said Seb.

“I knew we had it good in Melbourne before I went overseas, but now I have no doubt that Melbourne is the greatest city in the world.”

Before returning to the news presenter role, Seb will host The Winter Breakfast for two weeks from July 2 alongside Triple M Footy and AFL great Paul Roos and comedian Anthony ‘Lehmo’ Lehman during survey Break.

Seb joins one of Melbourne’s longest running Breakfast shows and Melbourne institution The Hot Breakfast, with host Eddie McGuire joined by former Western Bulldogs captain Luke Darcy and experienced radio personality and comedian Wil Anderson.

He will also continue to contribute to Nine for Nine News, A Current Affair and Nine’s Wide World of Sports coverage.
