The finalists for the 2024 Radio Today Podcast Awards will be revealed around lunchtime today. With a record number of entries for these awards, just making the cut as a finalist is a great honour and gives you a big chance of getting your hands on a Winner’s Trophy for your mantlepiece.

Winners in both the Major and Independent divisions will be announced next week.

Judging Process:

• Our expert judging panel was made up of senior audio leaders, educators, podcast creators and others with expertise in the audio industries to ensure that the judgement is informed and considered from all relevant sides of the industry. You can meet the judges here, here and here.
  • Judges were required to score each submission against specific criteria.
  • The voting system ensures that each entry is scored by at least three different judges with relevant expertise in the category.
  • Judges cannot see who else is on their judging panel or what other scores have been awarded by other judges.
  • Judges cannot vote for their own work or the work of their employer and can be recused for other known conflicts of interest. The process is designed to be transparent and fair to all parties.

Note: Finalist certificates were not awarded in some categories where none of the entries made the cut with a score of at least 50 out of 100.
