You’re either in the Holden Camp or the Ford Camp.

But what if you put the two together?

Today saw the culmination of River949’s Breakfast Show Marnie T and Mike Byrne’s latest creation… THE FALCODORE!

The concept was born with an on air chat about which car Marnie's partner Pat should buy next. Pat couldn't decide between a Holden Commodore and a Ford Falcon. Mike then came up with the brilliant idea to build the world's first Falcon/Commodore combo!

Marnie and Mike enlisted the help of local businesses including Bundamba Auto Wreckers.

Marnie and Mike also spoke to Holden and Ford legends including Dick Johnson and current V8 Supercar driver Nick Percat and had lots of feedback from passionate Holden and Ford fans.

Mike said “The response from listeners has been massive both on air and online. Today we unveiled the beast with an Outside Broadcast and free breakfast in the River949 car park with hundreds joining us for the grand unveiling”.

The FALCODORE will not be available to purchase any time soon nor will you see it on any show room floors.  This FALCODORE is a one-off original built especially for Marnie and Mike.
