The Chaser take aim at Barnaby Joyce on Triple M

Barnaby Joyce‘s recently publicised affair with a parliamentary staffer has provided perfect fodder for a radio skit by The Chaser.

Since The Chaser returned Triple M at the start of the year, nothing has been sacred, so its no surprise that this week saw the boys turn their attention to Joyce.

They are not the first Breakfast or Drive show to target the Joyce scandal, and they surely won’t be the last. 

Earlier on Tuesday they hinted that Joyce would form part a key part of the broadcast, tweeting ‘We’re taking calls on Radio Chaser this arvo on the age old conundrum. What is the right age to abandon your kids to have a seedy affair?’.

Then Dom Knight, Charles Firth and The Chaser team tackled the Barnaby Joyce affair with a classic sketch, and in a way that only The Chaser can.

The sketch advertised an employment agency called Barnaby’s Angels, who’ll help to “pair you up with a powerful older gentleman who’s happily married to someone age appropriate… for now.”

The Chaser can be heard on Triple M Sydney 3-4pm weekdays and nationally on the Triple M network Saturdays 8-10am.
