Thank God It’s Thaiday!

From Monday, Thank God It’s Thaiday! will swap weekends for weekdays in Brisbane at Nova 106.9.

Featuring the Broncos’ Sam Thaiday; TV’s and new mum Kimberley Busteed and Nova 106.9’s Katie Mattin. Thank God it’s Thaiday! will be On-Air Monday to Friday from 6 to 9.00am.

Nova 106.9 General Manager and Programming Director Jay Walkerden said: “These three have great camaraderie and listeners clearly enjoy their random banter,” Walkerden said. 

“I’m confident Thank God it’s Thaiday! is just what listeners need to keep them laughing in the lead up to Christmas.” 

Many of the show’s weekend segments will now feature during the week such as the popular “Ask Sammy” segment, where listeners are invited to call in with questions about Sam’s life with the answers often random and/or eyebrow raising. 

Sam Thaiday said:  “It can be a stressful time leading up to the day the big man in red rolls into town,” Thaiday said. 

“Which is why if we can make people laugh while trying to find a carpark, our work here is done.”
