Survey #1: Shepparton

Ratings for Shepparton in Victoria are out. It’s the markets first result in 15 years. 

Two commercial brands serve the region –  SCA’s 3SRFM and STAR FM  and ABC Local Radio and their network brands.

The survey was conducted by Xtra Research and is one of 25 regional radio surveys to be undertaken this year to measure regional audiences and boost the competitiveness of regional radio.

Summary Snapshot:

• STAR FM leads the 10 plus race with 32.2% of Station Listened to Most for the market.
• 3SR FM pulls-up in second spot with an 20.2% slice.
• ABC Local is third with 15.5%
• triple j 5.1% 
• Anyone under 54 is STAR FM’s and 40-64 goes 3SR FM’s way.
• 65 plus is ABC Local
• STAR FM takes all dayparts with the ABC taking nights.
