Jonesy & Amanda get to the bottom of the SBS Struggle Street saga

It hasn’t even seen the light of day on the small screen, but WSFM’s Jonesy & Amanda  did get to the bottom of the SBS Struggle Street saga.

Audio Producer David “Postie” Post revealed that he believed the infamous “fart” from the promo for the TV show was actually a sound effect.

It required some probing and Amanda made the fatal mistake of asking Postie how many fart Sound effects the station has.

Struggle Street has been the hot topic in Sydney this morning with garbage trucks out the front of SBS’s HQ along with the Mayor of Blacktown and the residents up in arms. While SBS has apparently dropped the Fart promo from their schedule, SBS Content Chief Helen Hellie says: “it’s a fair reflection of the time spent filming”.  That’s the show, not the Fart promo just to clarify.
