smoothfm welcomes Guy Sebastian to Saturday lineup
Guy Sebastian is the latest musician to join smoothfm as a presenter, keeping up a tradition which has seen Ronan Keating, Robbie Williams, Rod Stewart, Michael Bublé, Olivia Newton-John and Elton John host shows on the network.
Sebastian will host a two-hour show on Saturday August 22 from 5pm onwards, during which he’ll feature some of his favourite tracks.
He’ll also use the show to share personal anecdotes about his life and some of the world’s biggest megastars including Lionel Richie and Michael Bublé as well Otis Reding, who inspired Guy to reach for his own dreams.
He is one of the most successful Australian artists of all time, and is the only Australian male artist to have achieved six number one singles and two number one albums in ARIA chart history.
‘Angels Brought Me Here’ is still the fastest selling single in ARIA chart history, and his new single ‘Standing With You’ was released recently.
Sebastian’s 5pm smoothfm show will follow the Saturday lineup which includes Melissa Doyle from 6am, Richard Wilkins from 10am and David Campbell from 1pm.
Another programe that’s on ” Auto Pilot”
Smooth should spend a whole week recording shows with Guy and other celebrities and then they could just play those shows over and over for the next couple of years
Smooth FM is sounding dull to me lately. Repetitive and a narrowing playlist. Smooth Relax on DAB is actually what Smooth FM used to be.
sad…..so many jocks out of work and they give a millioniare a gig
Oh how boring. Guyfm.
They have lost what they stood for. Used to be “your easy place to relax” and now they don’t really stand for anything.
A coup for Sony FM.
Guy will be a great addition. Looking forward to it
