SEN signs three-year deal with SWFL

The Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will be the broadcast home of the Southwest Football League (SWFL) in Western Australia.

From next season, the matches can be heard on SENSpirit 621, as well as viewed via the SEN app.

In addition, SENSpirit 621 is launching a new program On The Ball – Summer Edition.

The program will be hosted by Alan Crane and Aaron Evans, and cover summer seasonal sports including cricket. It kicks off on November 5.

SEN said SENSpirt 621 is now the home of sport, with general manager Travis Green adding that the station is honoured to make a move into local sport.

“To extend that local commitment to work with the Southwest Football League in Western Australia and the local community in the southwest is an honour,” he said.

“The SWFL is a huge part of our community and hosts some sensational local football every weekend. And the opportunity to watch matches live on the SEN app as well as listen on SENSpirt 621 is great as well for local fans.

“We can’t wait for SENSpirit to become the league’s new media home.”

SENSpirit 621 will also become a league sponsor under the deal and showcase its branding at local matches.

Southwest League general manager, Simone Nani, said the league is grateful for the partnership.

“The SWFL are very excited to work alongside SEN as their new media partner. SEN’s commitment to community sport os a great fit for the SWFL. The platforms, exposure and the ability to work with the local SEN team will ensure we can bring the SWFL product to everyone within our community and across Australia.”
