Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is reporting huge growth across its digital platforms this year.

Over the last twelve months, SEN says its social media influence has surged, amassing 165 million video views across major platforms—a 166% increase year-on-year.

The breakdown reveals substantial engagement on TikTok (69.8 million views), Facebook (44.5 million views), Instagram (20.8 million views), X/Twitter (19.3 million views) and YouTube (10 million views).

The network says SEN Cricket and SEN League on YouTube garnered 1 million and 900,000 views, respectively. At the same time, it says AFL fans are flocking to SEN Radio’s account, amassing over 30,000 subscribers.

It adds that the SEN website garnered 11.7 million web users and over 326,000 app users.

SEN Digital Director Simon Chapman says “The outstanding growth across SEN’s digital platforms is a testament to our incredible team at SEN.”

“Our talent, producers and staff work tirelessly to deliver compelling sports content, and these impressive numbers reflect their dedication to providing the best experience for our audience.”

SEN will need to push hard on this digital angle. They aren’t reactive to survey results which is fine but they need to build value somehow particularly at a time when the business has a financial watch on it. Maybe if they can build their digital asset it might help. Hope it does they do some great stuff

SEN need to sign Sam Pang and Jason Hawkins to 1126AM for 2024 this is the best way I find SEN will be able to convert this digital ratings review with the profile of Sam Pang he will bring many listeners from Nova 100 in Melbourne and viewers from channels, 7 and 10 throughout Australia whilst Jase Hawkins will bring listeners from KIIS 101,1 with him.
