SEN gears up for comprehensive coverage of NRL’s Magic Round

Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) will have extensive coverage of the NRL’s Magic Round.

In 2025, Magic Round will again take place at the home of rugby league in Queensland Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium – from May 1 to 4, encompassing all matches of Round 9 of the NRL, plus the opening game of this year’s Women’s State of Origin series.

Magic Round features 16 of the 17 NRL teams competing in a single venue over one weekend.

SEN’s coverage of the event kicks off on Thursday, May 1, with Women’s State of Origin Game 1, followed by live calls of five NRL matches from Friday to Sunday – including a Broncos Radio biased call – on top of other NRL programming, headlined by the new SEN/Fox Sports simulcast of ‘Saturday League Kick Off’ with Scott Sattler and Andrew Webster.  Available to be broadcast both on radio and television, the show is live every Saturday of the NRL season from 10am.

SEN’s Magic Round programming will feature a host of names synonymous with rugby league, including Scott Sattler, Corey Parker, Andrew McCullough, Tim Mannah, Jarrod Wallace, Gary Freeman and Andrew Webster, plus Michelle Bishop, Ben Davis, Mark Braybrook, Jo Barrett and Drury Forbes.

As a part of SEN’s commitment to making Magic Round as accessible as possible for fans – particularly those who can’t be there in person – SEN’s coverage can be broadcast via Brisbane’s SENQ 693am and Sydney’s SEN 1170am, as well as a host of other SEN frequencies.

All SEN-broadcast matches will also be available on SEN Sync and SEN Stadium to enhance listeners’ experiences both at home and in-venue.
