Sea FM name new Brekky Co-Host on monday

Grant Broadcasters Sea FM, which broadcasts across Devonport, Burnie and Scottsdale in Northern Tasmania have been conducting their search for a Breakfast Co-Host for the past fortnight. 

The 'Sea FM Apprentices', during the first week, had to market Sea FM to as many listeners as possible, and there were celebrity, entertainment and charity challenges to fulfill.

This week, the final 3 apprentices each co-hosted 2-hours of the Sea FM Breakfast Show with Lee Dixon. The final decision will be announced on Monday 17 June at 8am by Program Director Steve Segale, who commented;

“The past two weeks has been some of the most exciting and rewarding radio I have had the pleasure to be a part of. Not only has the street talk around the North West and North East Coasts of Tasmania been fantastic, it has also resulted in a 600% increase in our web traffic."

"Couple this with the unearthing of some great local talent which would otherwise have gone undiscovered, it will not only benefit SEAFM, but Grant Broadcasters in the long term, and resulted in some riveting radio”
