Hit Network seeks assistant content director & announcer for Sea FM
Southern Cross Austereo’s (SCA) Hit Network station on the Gold Coast is seeking an assistant content director and announcer.
The station recently reverted to its heritage branding Sea FM after a run as Hit 90.9.
Its content director, Ali Longhust, announced her resignation and then popped up at Brisbane’s 97.3FM and 4KQ, replacing Barry Drinkwater.
She was replaced at the station now known as Sea FM by former 2DayFM Breakfast executive producer and senior producer of The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Kim Czosnek.
The Sea FM assistant content director will report to Czosnek. Together, they will be responsible for executing the strategic and operational plan for Sea FM and ensuring the continued success of the station.
“We are on the hunt for a born leader with a proven track record inspiring and managing teams, who has a passion for all things pop culture,” SCA said. “Your primary aim will be ensuring SCA’s strategic plan is delivered through all content, and ultimately you will be responsible for delivering winning, engaging audio.”
The successful applicant will also need on-air experience and ensure “that only fresh and relevant content goes to air”.
