Sarah Howells hosts new Double J roots show ‘Stir It Up’

Sarah Howells returns to the airwaves tonight for the premiere of a brand new roots and blues show on Double J.

The former host of triple j’s weekly Roots & All show will be at the helm of a new show called Stir It Up.

It’s set to draw on Sarah’s deep and longstanding love of roots music.

Sarah is one of the best authorities on the style, having interviewed some of the biggest names on the game during her long tenure on triple j.

“I am beyond excited to be joining the amazing team at Double J in 2019,” said Howells.

“I can’t wait to spend Wednesday nights sharing music with you, as we dive deep into some of my favourite styles of music and the stories behind them.

“Blues, folk, reggae, roots and more – there’s so much to explore.”

Stir It Up will be heard on Wednesday Nights at 8pm on Double J.
