Sami Lukis joins Sam Coward for Breakfast on 91.1 Hot FM

Radio and television personality Sami Lukis has joined the Sunshine Coast’s 91.1 Hot FM for a two-month stint while Ash Gierke is on maternity leave until September 1. 

Sami is co-hosting the Breakfast slot alongside Sam Coward with the pair kicking off their two-months on-air together this morning. 

“I’m super excited to get back behind the mic and join the team at 91.1 Hot FM for the next couple of months. Who wouldn’t want to spend winter on the Sunshine Coast in QLD? Lucky me,” said Lukis. 

Sami has a career spanning 25 years as a television presenter, radio host, podcaster, author, and journalist. 

She is a regular contributor to women’s lifestyle network, 9Honey, and appears regularly as a commentator on The Morning Show on Channel 7. 

Sami’s first book Romantically Challenged also became a spin-off podcast by the same name, which was nominated for Best Original Podcast at the 2019 Australian Commercial Radio Awards. 

With another podcast up her sleeve, Sami is also the host and producer of the successful And Just Like That… They’re Back podcast, which has been downloaded in more than 100 countries.

Now Sami finds herself alongside Sam Coward who is looking forward to showcasing life on the Sunshine Coast. 

“I’m really looking forward to showing off the Sunny Coast to Sami and getting to know this energetic Sydney Sider. Having two Sams won’t be at all confusing,” Sam said.
