SAFM’s Christmas Carols cranked up at home this Saturday

Adelaide listeners will be decking the halls and getting their jingle bells ready for a not so silent night when SAFM’s Bec Cosi and Lehmo bring listeners their favourite Christmas songs in a live radio broadcast this weekend.

The team will host three hours of live carols, celebrations and gifts for listeners again this year, guaranteeing that whatever happens with Covid restrictions, this is one event that will not be cancelled.

“Last year we were blown away by how many families and friends had SAFM’s Christmas Carols cranked up at home. Our phones melted with just how many people called in,” says Rebecca Morse.

After its debut last year, 107.1 SAFM’s Christmas Carols returns this Saturday 4th December for a three-hour live broadcast from 6- 9pm.

‘It’s been a tough couple of years and now more than ever, time with family and friends is more precious,” says Andrew “Cosi” Costello. “The SAFM Christmas Carols is the chance for all South Aussies to drag the deck chairs out the front and invite a few loved ones over. The BBQs will be cranking along with the carols, and we cannot wait as a breakfast show to spend this night with you.”

Anthony “Lehmo” Lehmann says: “Whether you are in the backyard, the front yard, the kitchen, or your car, you can sing along with us and get loose. Unless you are in your car, don’t get loose while you’re driving, save it until you get home!”

Local performances from G Nation, Gospo Collective, and Louis Fuller will feature with their favourite carols along with festive classics and a few Christmas bangers. International superstars James Blunt, Dean Lewis, Sam Fischer and of course Santa will be calling in live with song requests.

Listeners can hear SAFM’s Christmas Carols live and commercial free via your smart speaker, the LISTNR app or 107.1 SAFM from 6pm this Saturday.

Apart from Cosi trying to bring people down at every opportunity, (yes, even a 3 year old) this was a pretty good production.
