RSN Melbourne axes Sports Heaven

The RSN Sports Heaven breakfast show  in Melbourne of Michael Christian and Mick McGuane has been axed, with their contracts not renewed for 2017.

The Herald Sun reports that the pair were told this morning and “could see out the year, but preferred to end up this Friday in the belief they may struggle to contain their disappointment at the decision.”

The paper also named  SEN Drives Daniel Harford and racing broadcaster Jason Richardson as potential replacements.

RSN hasn’t made any public comment at this stage.
