Rosie Walton to take over Triple M Afternoons in Melbourne

Staff Writer

Rosie Walton has a new gig at Triple M Melbourne, taking over the Afternoons slot from 12pm on Monday, January 11.

Walton was formerly the in-studio producer for the station’s Breakfast program, Triple M Hot Breakfast, which came to an end last year after over a decade on-air.

The Eddie McGuire and Luke Darcy-fronted show will this year be replaced by The Marty Sheargold Show which will feature its namesake as well as Troy Ellis.

Walton has been with Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) for over 25 years and said in addition to the new anchoring gig she would be “working on some music features which will be a lot of fun”.

SCA has been approached for comment.
